Privacy Policy
Johnson Digital Solutions builds websites and online tools for local businesses from Sacramento, California. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our site, fill in a form, or message us, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It also covers the WhatsApp assistants we run for our business clients.
What We Collect
Details you give us:
- Your name, business name, phone number, and email address
- What your business does and the city or area you serve
- Your current website, Instagram, or Google listing, and when you would like a new site
- Whether you agreed to receive text messages
- Anything you tell us in a Facebook or Instagram message, along with the name on your public profile
Details collected automatically: the pages you visit, the ad that brought you to the site, your browser type, your IP address, cookies set by the Meta Pixel, and how you scroll and click, which Microsoft Clarity records so we can see where the site confuses people. Clarity masks form fields and the booking calendar.
How We Use It
- To contact you about the preview or service you asked about
- To send a confirmation email and a few follow up emails about your request
- To send text messages, only if you agreed to receive them
- To measure which of our ads work and help Meta show our ads to businesses like yours
- To keep a record of our conversations with you
Text Messages
If you tick the texting box on our form, or give us your number in a Facebook or Instagram conversation after we say we will text you, we may text you about your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of getting a preview or buying anything.
We do not share or sell your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with any third party or affiliate for their marketing. The sharing described below never includes your text messaging consent or your mobile number for anyone's marketing purposes.
Follow up emails come from Isaac directly. Reply "unsubscribe" to any of them and we will stop.
Who We Share It With
We use a small set of service providers to run the business. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Meta Platforms: advertising, the Meta Pixel, the Conversions API, Facebook and Instagram messaging, and the WhatsApp Business Platform that carries the WhatsApp assistants we run for clients
- ManyChat: automated replies to Facebook and Instagram comments and messages
- Vercel: hosts this website
- Railway: hosts our record of the people who contact us
- Google: our email
- Resend: delivers form notifications to us
- Twilio: delivers text messages
- Pushover: sends new request alerts to our phone
- Calendly: books calls and collects the business details you enter when you book. When you fill in our form first, we pass those answers into the Calendly booking form so you do not type them twice
- Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session recordings of how visitors use the site
- An AI model provider and a hosting and database provider: run the WhatsApp assistants we operate for clients, as described below
When you send a request, we tell Meta a lead happened and include a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email and phone number so Meta can match it to an ad click. Meta does not receive them in readable form from us.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Our use of the Meta Pixel and Conversions API may count as sharing for targeted advertising under California law. To opt out, email us and we will stop sending your details to Meta.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your details while we are working with you or talking about working together, and for up to three years after our last contact, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time. Data held by the WhatsApp assistants we run for clients follows its own schedule, described below.
Your Choices and Rights
- Ask for a copy of the details we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete them
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of emails by replying "unsubscribe"
- Opt out of us sharing your details with Meta for advertising
California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we honor them for everyone. Email Isaacj.business2025@gmail.com or call (916) 767-3495. We will confirm the request comes from you by matching the contact details we already have, and we will never treat you differently for making one.
Step by step instructions for deleting your details are on our Data Deletion Instructions page.
WhatsApp Assistants We Run for Clients
We build and operate WhatsApp assistants for business clients on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (the Cloud API). Each assistant runs on a WhatsApp number we control and talks only to the business owner who hired us. It never messages that business's customers or leads.
The assistant processes:
- Messages the business owner sends it, including text, forwarded messages, and contact cards
- Details about the owner's own leads that those messages contain, such as names, phone numbers, notes, and follow up dates
- The owner's WhatsApp number and profile name
- Message metadata, such as timestamps and delivery status
We use this information only to provide the service to that client: saving leads and notes, sending the reminders the owner sets, and producing the lists and exports the owner asks for. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
Who Handles WhatsApp Assistant Data
Each assistant relies on a few service providers, and each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Meta Platforms: runs the WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta may store messages in the region the client chooses, for example the United Arab Emirates
- An AI model provider: reads message text so the assistant can understand each request. It is configured not to keep that text or train on it
- A hosting and database provider, chosen for each client and possibly located in the client's own country: runs the assistant and stores the client's saved leads, notes, and reminders
Our business client decides what goes into their assistant and is responsible for having the right to share their leads' details with us. We handle those details only on the client's instructions, as their service provider (a data processor).
How Long WhatsApp Assistant Data Is Kept
We keep a client's assistant data while the client uses the service. We delete it within 30 days after the service ends, or sooner on request.
The business owner can also erase it at any time by sending the assistant "delete everything" and replying YES when it asks to confirm. Every lead, note, and reminder it holds is deleted at once.
Questions or deletion requests: Isaacj.business2025@gmail.com or (916) 767-3495.
Anyone whose details an assistant holds can also follow our Data Deletion Instructions.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 16.
Security
We protect your details with access controls and encrypted connections, and we limit who can see them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords or payment details through our forms or messages.
Changes and Contact
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
